Valentine’s Day Mantel

It’s that time of year where I change the mantel again. I actually did this after taking down the Christmas mantel but sometimes it just takes a while to get the pictures off of the camera and then blog about it!

The new addition this year is the I heart you frame. The frame is an old frame that I think my mom pulled out of her stash when I was in college. I had my fraternity composite picture in it and I don’t think that’s been put out since I left my college apartment. Some things are good to keep around!! I won’t say how long ago that was…it makes me feel old. I know, I’m not really old, it just seems like a long time ago ๐Ÿ™‚ Anyway, I spray painted it white, cut the words out with my Sizzix Eclips and found a cute festive fabric. Easy and cheap!

For anyone that read the old blog and the saga about the fish, you’ll notice that the fish is no longer hanging above the mantel ๐Ÿ™‚
